Individual
Individual therapy begins with a comprehensive assessment to help the therapist understand what you have experienced and what you are going through. This will help you and the therapist establish a treatment plan using specific interventions to help achieve your goals. Individual therapy sessions can sometimes be painful but it is also a healing and rewarding experience as you find peace, joy, and achieve desired change.
Family
Family therapy begins with a comprehensive family assessment with the family unit. Often additional individual assessment sessions may be needed and determined by your therapist. Family sessions are designed to better understand how the family communicates, identifies problems, solves problems, establishes boundaries and expectations, while using family strengths to help with the challenges families face.
Couples
Couples therapy is designed for couples who are in a relationship, married or not. Couples counseling begins with a comprehensive assessment of the relationship and variables impacting the relationship. The goal of couples therapy is to improve the couples' relationship. Although the focus of couples therapy is on the couple, there are times when the individual sessions are needed to help compliment the couples counseling sessions. Therapy often includes sessions designed to improve problem solving, build communication skills, and identify life goals and relationship responsibilities. Other common issues include infidelity, financial problems, parenting issues, illness and other life changes.
Group
Group therapy sessions typically occur on an identified topic. These topics vary and are determined by staff and client/community input. The characteristics of group sessions are pre-determined by staff and when committing to the group attendance is highly encouraged. Groups are facilitated by our therapy staff and while education on the identified topic is provided, participation from group members is encouraged. Group work is very transformational and provides an environment for members to develop close bonds with fellow group members as they support each other through shared experiences.
Life Coaching
Life coaching sessions are modeled on a specific format to understand who you are, what you want from life, and develop a roadmap to get there. We use our life coaching model to help you understand your current approaches and why they have not worked. Then we will help you create goals and integrate new skills to meet these goals and create fulfilling life experiences.
